About the Tabebuia rosea
- A beautiful tall tree that blooms in flushes in spring and summer.
- It is popular for its often spectacular bloom of showy, trumpet-shaped, purplish flowers. It is widely grown for adorning avenues.
- Showy tropical flowering tree with a crooked trunk and corky bark, up to 8 m high, covering itself in the leafless stage with a profusion of rich pink trumpet flowers.
- Foliage appears after the bloom. Leaves arise after the first flowering and a second but minor flush of flowers occurs after the emergence of leaves.
- It is good for screening, attracting bees, quick growth habits.
- Suitable for road median planting, avenue planting, also good on the seaside.
Growing Tips
- Can be effectively used in small as well as large gardens.
- The tree will grow in any well-drained soil & prefer full sunlight areas.
- Some support and training are required when the plants are small.
- Regular irrigation in the dry period in the first two years will help the tree establish itself.
- The minimum spacing between plant to plant should be 5m * 5m.
- Starts flowering after 2-3 years of planting.

INITIAL CARE FOR 10-15 DAYS JUST AFTER RECEIVING YOUR PLANT
- Remove the Packaging Materials carefully.
- Press the soil in the pot & add additional soil(garden mix) if necessary.
- Maintain moisture in the pot, Do not overwater it may kill your plant, so make sure that the soil should be dry between watering.
- Make sure that plants get enough morning direct bright light(2-3hrs) for 10-15 days & do not go for immediate transplanting (minimum 1 month)
- You can remain the plant in the same pot for 1 month, later you can transplant it directly into the ground.
- Just prune if any branch of the plant is get damaged in transits. New leaves will come definitely.
