About the Plant - 

  • It is a famous ornamental and sacred exotic evergreen flowering tree in India.
  • It is mainly grown for its strongly fragrant flowers. These are easy to grow and maintain.
  • Indigenous (native to India)
  • Recommended for creating shade, Quick growing trees, Evergreen trees, avenue tree planting.
  • Grows best in humid and warm regions
  • Must have for Farmhouse or big gardens
  • Special reverence by the Hindus and is considered sacred to the god Vishnu.
  • Commonly planted around Hindu and Jain temples.

Growing Tips - 

  • It prefers full sunlight to semi-shade sunlight areas.
  • Prefers rich soil that is slightly acidic.
  • Planted in gardens and protected places.
  • Plants cannot stand waterlogged conditions even for a short period.
  • Should be planted on the western sides of homes as the fragrance in spring, summer and monsoon are divine.
  • The minimum spacing between plant to plant should be 6m * 6m. 

Maximum Height - It can spread up to 12 meters.

Flowering Season - It flowers mainly in February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October.

Landscape uses - Shade tree, avenue tree, Farmhouse, Temple, etc.

    INITIAL CARE FOR 10-15 DAYS JUST AFTER RECEIVING YOUR PLANT 

    1. Remove the Packaging Materials carefully.
    2. Press the soil in the pot & add additional soil(garden mix) if necessary.
    3. Maintain moisture in the pot, Do not overwater it may kill your plant, so make sure that the soil should be dry between watering.
    4. Make sure that plants get enough morning direct bright light(2-3hrs) for 10-15 days & do not go for immediate transplanting (minimum 1 month)
    5. You can remain the plant in the same pot for 1 month, later you can transplant it directly into the ground.
    6. Just prune if any branch of the plant is get damaged in transits. New leaves will come definitely.
