About the Bakul Tree - 

  • It is a beautiful every green tree with a dense canopy of small shiny leaves.
  • The tree bears creamy white fragrant flowers and ovoid berries. Year-around flowering, Flowers in flushes throughout the year.
  • The flowers have such a great fragrance that it fills the night air with a delicious heady aroma.
  • They are offered in temples and shrines throughout the country.
  • Besides, due to its moderate size, it is a perfect candidate for urban plantations and home gardens.
  • Indigenous (native to India).
  • Good for Hedges and Borders, attracts birds, bees.
  • Recommended for creating shade

Growing Tips

  • Grows in the tropical climate both in moist and dry regions.
  • Cannot stand waterlogging.
  • Planting in roadside, gardens, and parks.
  • Will grow in any soil - as long as it is well-drained.
  • The minimum spacing between plant to plant should be 8m*8m.

INITIAL CARE FOR 10-15 DAYS JUST AFTER RECEIVING YOUR PLANT 

  1. Remove the Packaging Materials carefully.
  2. Press the soil in the pot & add additional soil(garden mix) if necessary.
  3. Maintain moisture in the pot, Do not overwater it may kill your plant, so make sure that the soil should be dry between watering.
  4. Make sure that plants get enough morning direct bright light(2-3hrs) for 10-15 days & do not go for immediate transplanting (minimum 1 month)
  5. You can remain the plant in the same pot for 1 month, later you can transplant it directly into the ground.
  6. Just prune if any branch of the plant is get damaged in transits. New leaves will come definitely.
